Edit Device

  1. Navigate to
    Devices
    .
  2. Click three dots next to the Device you want to edit.
  3. Choose
    Edit Device
    .
  4. Make the necessary changes to the Device. See the table below for a description of each setting.
  5. Click
    Save
    .

Options (Default)
Shows the MAC Address of the Device.
Read from the Device
Device Name
The given name of the Device. Ensure Device names meet Zentra requirements:
  • 1-20 characters (Engage allows up to 25)
  • Letters, numbers, and symbols (#, -, and spaces) only
  • Cannot start or end with spaces
  • No special characters beyond those listed

Description of the Device

Shows the Serial Number of the Device.
Read from the Device
Device Groups
Drop-down box from which available Device Groups can be selected.
Click to select the Device Group(s) the Device should be part of. (none)
Enrollment Reader
Set this Device to be an enrollment reader for credentials.

Slider to toggle Active/Not Active
