Identify Lost Badge
Use this feature to look up which User a lost or unregistered credential belongs to.
How it works
Identify Lost Badge matches against a
Decline Credential Not Found
 Event generated when a credential is presented at the selected reader. A credential that is
approved
 at the reader does not generate this Event – the feature will only work with enrolled credentials that are declined at the reader.
Steps
  1. Navigate to
    People > Everyone
    .
  2. Click
    Identify lost badge
     at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the
    reader
     to use for scanning the badge.
  4. Select the
    credential format
    .
  5. Tap the credential against the reader, then click
    Identify
    .
  6. Review the results: If a matching
    Decline Credential Not Found
     Event is found, the system shows the linked User. Click
    View details
     to open that user’s profile.
  7. If no matching decline Event is found, the badge can be reused.
