PMS Integration Requirements

Before setting up PMS Integration, ensure you have the following requirements in place.

Zentra Requirements

Required Permissions
  • TenantSettingsModify permission
     – Required to configure PMS Integration settings. This permission is provided by default to both the Integrator and Property Manager roles.
Feature Enablement
PMS Integration must be enabled for your site. If you do not see the Integrations option in Settings, contact Zentra support to enable this feature.
Recommended Setup Order
For best results, set up your Devices, User Groups, and common access rules before configuring PMS Integration. This allows you to match units to devices and assign access during the integration setup.
Complete these steps before PMS setup:
  1. Create all Devices for your property
  2. Configure User Groups for common areas, amenities, and buildings
  3. Set up common access rules for your User Groups (especially important for offline devices to avoid extra tours)
  4. Ensure device names match or closely resemble your PMS unit names (for easier matching)

PMS Requirements

For RealPage Users
To connect Zentra to RealPage, you need:
  • RealPage Super User access
     (or administrator who has it)
  • PMC ID
     – Your Property Management Company identifier
  • Site ID
     – Your specific property identifier
Obtaining RealPage Credentials
  1. Log in to
    RealPage Exchange / Integration Marketplace
  2. Search for
    “Gatewise incorporated”
  3. Click
    Subscribe now
     to request the integration
  4. Zentra staff receives a notification and will contact you with the required PMC ID and Site ID
Obtaining your RealPage credentials requires coordination with Zentra. After you subscribe in the RealPage marketplace, contact your Zentra representative to receive your PMC ID and Site ID.
For Yardi Users
When configuring the vendor in Yardi Voyager, search for and select
“Gatewise Community Access”
. This is the correct listing for the Zentra integration – Yardi’s vendor list does not include an entry named “Zentra.”
To connect Zentra to Yardi Voyager, an administrator on your team completes the following steps directly in Voyager (no Zentra staff coordination required):
  1. Configure the vendor options for
    Gatewise Community Access
     under
    Interfaces > Configuration > Review Interface Vendors
    .
  2. Configure the property (or property list) to use the
    Gatewise Community Access
     agency under the appropriate interface type, such as
    ILS Guest Card
    .
  3. Configure the interface user with
    Interface User
     privileges and web service access for the Guest Card / ILS interface.
  4. Gather the following access information to enter in Zentra:
    • Property ID
    • Username
       and
      Password
       for the interface user
    • URL
       – Your Yardi Voyager URL
    • Server Name
       – always the same value as
      Database
    • Database
       name
Yardi connections require six credential fields instead of RealPage’s two because each Yardi connection uses per-property, per-tenant credentials rather than a shared platform credential.

Data Quality
For best results, ensure your PMS data is clean:
  • Remove test or placeholder residents
  • Verify email addresses are valid and unique
  • Confirm unit assignments are current
  • Update lease statuses to reflect actual occupancy

Checklist

Before starting PMS Integration setup:
  • TenantSettingsModify permission available (Integrator or Property Manager role)
  • PMS Integration feature enabled (contact support if needed)
  • Devices created for all units
  • User Groups configured for common areas and amenities
  • Common access rules set up (recommended for offline devices)
  • PMS administrator access available
  • PMC ID and Site ID obtained from Zentra (RealPage), or the six Voyager credential fields gathered (Yardi)
  • PMS data reviewed for quality and completeness
