Updating Credentials BETA

After initial setup, you can modify PMS Integration settings as your property needs change.
If your PMS API credentials change (expired, rotated, or updated), you can update them in Zentra without reconfiguring the entire integration.
When to Update Credentials
- API credentials have been rotated
- Original credentials expired
- Security policy requires credential updates
- Switching to different PMS account
Procedure: RealPage
- Navigate toSettings > PMS Integrations.
- ClickSettings.
- ClickUpdate Credentials.
- Enter the new credentials:
- PMC ID– Your Property Management Company identifier
- Site ID– Your property identifier
- ClickValidate Connection.
- If validation succeeds, clickSave.
Procedure: Yardi
- Navigate toSettings > PMS Integrations.
- ClickSettings.
- ClickUpdate Credentials.
- Enter the new credentials:
- Property ID
- UsernameandPassword
- URL
- Server Name– always the same value asDatabase
- Database
- ClickValidate Connection.
- If validation succeeds, clickSave.
Validation
The system tests the new credentials before saving:
- Success:Connection validated, credentials saved
- Failure:Error displayed, old credentials remain active
If validation fails, your integration continues to use the old credentials. Fix the new credentials and try again.
After Updating
After credentials are updated:
- The next sync will use the new credentials
- All settings and matches are preserved
- No manual re-sync is required (but recommended to verify)
Credential Security
- Credentials are stored securely and encrypted
- Only users with TenantSettingsModify permission can view or modify credentials
- Credential changes are logged in the integration history
