- Select
to proceedSave & Continue - Select the desired lock state (once testing is complete) then click either
orReadyNext- It should be noted that once the latch test is completed, the Device will remain in the state that was selected; either Lock or Unlocked. This can result in openings being unintentionally left unsecured.
- Follow the prompts to configure the ASM
- First, factory reset the ASM by using a pin to hold the reset button down until the status light flashes green 3 times.
- Once the ASM has been reset, clickContinue
- An admit will be sent as a test:
- The reader’s LED should turn green for the duration of the latch interval
- The ASM’s status light should turn green for the duration of the latch interval
- The physical lock should unlatch for the duration of the latch interval
- If the admit test did not successfully unlatch the lock, click
then follow the prompts to repeat the configuration processNo
- Proceed through the tests (or click
), then selectSkip Test
when finishedSave - Once you have successfully paired the ASM module with the Reader Controller, send a Schedule command to the corresponding Device to set it back to Schedule.
If the ASM’s status light is stuck green, you will need to repeat the configuration process. If the status light is turning amber during the admit test (step 6C above), the encrypted ASM code does not currently match what is set in Pure Access and the ASM configuration process must be repeated (you may need to factory reset the ASM).
