Command button

This action is used for online devices only.
The
Command
 button is used to send an immediate command to a Device or a group of devices, or all the devices in the site at the same time.
  1. Click
    Command
    .
  2. Select the
    Device(s)
     or
    Device Group(s)
     you would like to send a command to, or select
    All
    .
  3. Choose the action you want to perform:
    • Admit
      : unlocks the Device or Device group for the Latch interval set per Device
    • Lock Down
      : Locks down the Device or Device group. While in Lock Down mode, access is denied to all users except those whose credentials include the Pass-Through special property.
    • Schedule
      : places Device into a normal state (following the configured weekly rules)
    • Unlocked
      : unlocks the Device or Device group
    • Lock
      : overrides an Auto Unlock Weekly Rule or Event, returning the Device or Device group to a locked state (Schlage devices only)
    • Clear Tamper
      : clears a Tamper alarm on an Device (Schlage devices only)
  4. Click
    Send
    .
  5. Watch for the confirmation banner at the bottom of the screen.
Sending command requires that the web access User has one (or more) of the following permissions:
  • Devices Modify
  • Device Groups Modify
  • Weekly Rules Modify
  • Holidays & Events Modify
