Areas

Areas are “containers” which are used to segment a Zentra site for
administration purposes
.
  • Areas
    are not
     used for access control and configuring them is optional.
  • Areas should only be used if administrative segmentation is needed to protect the security of the system.
  • Areas should be planned before the system is fully configured because every object in a Zentra site must have an assigned Area in order to be set up properly.
  • By default, every site gets assigned to a default Common Area.
Areas are generally not necessary for most sites. Speak with your integrator before implementing into your site.
