Getting Started with Wallet-Based Credentials

Before adding your wallet-based credential, confirm your device and account meet the requirements below.

iPhone
iPhone SE, 6s, or newer running iOS 17 or later
Apple Watch
Series 3 or newer running watchOS 9 or later
Android phone
NFC-capable device running Android 12 or later with Google Wallet installed
Account requirements
  • Zentra username and password
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) set up on your Zentra account
  • Zentra Mobile App installed and signed in, with the End User License Agreement (EULA) accepted
Apple-specific requirements
  • Apple ID signed into iCloud
  • Apple iCloud Terms and Conditions accepted
  • Apple Wallet Terms and Conditions accepted
  • Passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID enabled on your device
Google-specific requirements
  • Google Wallet app installed
  • NFC enabled in your phone’s settings (found under
    Connected Devices
    or
    Connection Settings
    )
  • Google account associated with your device
Setting up MFA
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required before you can add your wallet-based credential. If MFA is not yet set up, you will be prompted to do so the next time you sign in to the Zentra Mobile App.
MFA options include:
  • Email authenticator PIN
  • Authenticator app PIN
  • Biometrics (Face ID or Touch ID) as a second factor
MFA must be active on your account before you can add your wallet-based credential to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. If you are unsure whether MFA is set up, contact your property manager.
