Create ISONAS Device (IP Bridge)

This is the process to add an IP Bridge to Zentra. Once connected, the IP Bridge can be connected to the Schlage MTB Reader via Weigand. If mobile credentials are going to be used on the property, the Schlage MTB Reader must be commissioned using the mobile app. Please refer to the instructions on the Add Device page to learn more.
  1. Navigate to
    Devices
    .
  2. Click 
    Create Device
    and then choose 
    Create ISONAS Device
    .
  3. Enter the following into the fields:
    • For a device that is plugged in and discoverable on the network:
      1. Select
        Yes
         to the question
        Is your device ready to connect?
      2. Input the
        MAC address
         of the reader controller (located on the back or side of the device), and press the
        Tab
         key.
      3. The box will be displayed. If the device cannot be located, an error message will be displayed.
    • For a device that is either not plugged in or not currently discoverable on the network:
      1. Select
        No
         to the question
        Is your device ready to connect?
      2. Input the
        MAC address
         of the reader controller (located on the back and side of the device), and press the
        Tab
         key.
      3. The box will be displayed.
    • Name
      : a meaningful name for the device. Ensure it meets our requirements.
      • 1-20 characters (Engage allows up to 25)
      • Letters, numbers, and symbols (#, -, and spaces) only
      • Cannot start or end with spaces
      • No special characters beyond those listed
  • Description
     (optional): additional information about the device
  • Device group(s)
    : choose the desired group(s) from the list (optional)
  1. Select either
    Configure Later
     or
    Configure Now
    .
    • Configure Now
       will not be an option for a device that is not ready to connect.
