Alert Types and Settings

Extended Open Threshold: how long a door must remain open before an alert is sent. Default is three (3) seconds.
Auto Clear Alerts: choose which alerts should be cleared automatically
Disable Alerts: choose which events should not generate an alert
Email Alert Start Time: choose the start time for when alerts should be emailed
Email Alert End Time: choose the end time for when alerts should be emailed
Email Users: choose which users should be sent email when there is an alert Only users who have been granted <a href="https://manual.living.zentra.co/zentra-product-manual/1/en/topic/manage-web-access"> Web Access will be shown in this list.
Email Alerts: choose which alerts should generate an email.

Alert Types

Alerts are displayed by clicking the Alerts tab on the left side menu.

Alert Type	Description	Notes
AUX Alarm	AUX device triggered.	AUX device must be installed and the configured in the Access Point settings.
Credential Expired	A credential which has exceeded its time limit has been presented to a reader.
Credential Over Limit	A credential which has exceeded its count limit has been presented to a reader.
Credential Rejected	A credential with insufficient access has been presented to a reader.
Critical Battery	Batteries must be replaced immediately.
Custom Rule	Alert from a Custom Rule
Door Position Sensor Tamper	DPS tamper alert.	DPS should be physically inspected.
Extended Open	A door was left open after a valid admit.	DPS must be physically installed and Door Sense enabled in the Access Point settings.
Low Battery	Batteries are low and must be replaced soon.
REX Alarm	Request for Exit was triggered.	REX switch must be physically installed and REX enabled in the Access Point settings.
Tamper	Device tamper alert.	Device should be physically inspected and reset.
Unauthorized Open	A door was opened without valid access.	Usually forced entry. Access point should be inspected.
