Create ISONAS Access Point

This is the process to add an IP Bridge to the Zentra software. Once connected, the IP Bridge can be connected to the MTB via Weigand. If mobile credentials are going to be used on the property, the MTB must be commissioned using the mobile app.

1. Navigate to Devices.
   
2. Hover over the .
3. Choose Create ISONAS Access point.
   
4. In the Create ISONAS Access Point dialogue box, choose:
   
   • For a device that is plugged in and discoverable on the network:
     1. Select Yes to the question Is your device ready to connect?
     2. Input the MAC address of the reader controller (located on the back or side of the device), and press the Tab key.
     3. The Device Type box will be displayed. If the device cannot be located, an error message will be displayed.
   • For a device that is either not plugged in or not currently discoverable on the network:
     1. Select No to the question Is your device ready to connect?
     2. Input the MAC address of the reader controller (located on the back and side of the device), and press the Tab key.
     3. The Device Type box will be displayed.
5. Choose the Device Type from the drop-down list (this may auto-populate with the correct type).
6. Input a Name for the device.
7. Input a Description (optional).
8. Select the relevant Device group(s) from the list (optional).
9. Select either Configure Later or Configure Now.
   • Configure Now will not be an option for a device that is not ready to connect.
