Sync

Mobile device communication with a device. This updates all settings in the device and uploads the latest audit information into Zentra. When this occurs, the app reaches out to the backend, finds that database and replaces the entire database to ensure it is up to date. A sync performs the same actions as the Scheduled Check In (update the database with user rights, and schedules, and sends audits) but is initiated by the Zentra mobile app and is performed all via BLE. A user must stay connected to the lock and keep the app open in order for this to be properly completed.

• You only would perform a SYNC on offline locks.
• A “sync” encompasses all touring activities, and would negate the need for a credential to be programmed with any updates.
