Zentra supports a bluetooth mobile credential.

Issue a mobile credential to a resident

  1. Add a User in the Online Interface.
    • Be sure to enter an email for the user. Mobile access will automatically be enabled for any user with a Resident role or higher that has an email entered for their profile.
  2. On the Create Credentials screen, notice that the Access using Zentra mobile app setting is enabled by default, with an available email confirmation (this email will reflect the one entered on the first page).
    • Once this user profile is confirmed, the email address noted will receive an invitation to join Zentra. After accepting the invitation and setting a password, users will be able to log in to the Zentra mobile app and activate their credential for use at the devices where they were granted access.
    • The mobile credential can be used as an alternative to a fob anywhere on your property.

FAQ

If a resident has had access removed to a lock where they were previously gaining access via their cached credential, when they re-authenticate in the Zentra iOS app, is their access to that lock revoked?

  • Answer: yes.

If a resident has had access removed to a lock where they were previously gaining access via their cached credential, can a no-tour block be delivered via programming a fob for another user who has access at that control lock?
